Trucks are popular vehicles

Trucks are popular vehicles, measured in US sales units, due to their ability to tow, transport, and transport your favorite entertainment equipment throughout the city or county. With the right suspension, your truck can do even more while continuing to offer comfort, safety and utility.

As an example of the benefits of upgrading your truck’s suspension, we install the Bilstein B8 6112 front leveling kit and the corresponding B8 5160 rear shock absorbers with remote tanks on the 2017 Ford F-150 FX4 to increase the ride height, suspension travel and style of this later model. model of the truck, so that its owner can continue to use the truck for his business during the working week and enjoy a large number of tracks, trips and motorcycle rides on weekends.

Bilstein has a history of victories in almost all motorsport series supported by research, development and manufacturing enterprises around the world. As an original equipment supplier, Bilstein has a long-term relationship with BMW, Porsche, Fiat Chrysler and Mercedes-Benz. Their technology and suspension quality were recognized as one of the best available, and with these qualities in mind, we started the installation with Daniel from OC Motorsport.

The steps to remove the spare suspension and replace it with Bilstein B8 shock absorbers are straightforward; although the presence of a hoist, percussion gun and hydraulic press are of great importance.

Daniel started from the back of the truck, quickly worked on removing the shock absorbers, and installed the remote Bilstein tanks on the rear shock absorbers with the single-tube parts from the delivery and reinstalled the pair with factory fittings.

Go to the front of the truck. Daniel had a much more difficult task, and he began by removing the bolts of the lower strut and the control lever, and then the bolts of the upper mount, to lower the shock absorber assembly and the springs from below.

After installation and adjustment, Daniel took the F-150 for a test drive and declared it ready for use. Truck owner Scott took the truck off the road this weekend and said he was very impressed with the Bilstein B8, saying the highway ride is very comfortable and more stable on its favorite desert tracks.
